manners and today’s society

Published by workingmum at 8:27 am under Uncategorized Edit This

Is it me or is there truly less mannrs around than ther used to be, has being a liberal society tainted our kids so much that respect and dignity have nearly all but gone in today’s fast paced fast living world?   you watch tv you read a magazine you turn on the radio and there it is forall to see and hear the degridation of our home towns, cities villages and community’s are afffected by the youth of today and those few who refuse to grow up and still think they are teenagers, the world is a lot scarier now than it was even just a decade ago, going out at a weekend isn’t the same it’s far more dangerous and your far more likely to get in to trouble and end up in casualty or worse, than you are  of actually having a successful good nigt ou with no upset.  and iknow a lot of you are probably screaming it’s the parents blame the parents kids only know what they see and what they’ve been taught but that’s the thing you see how can they get away from over sexualised pictures the glamorous images of violence on the telly in films in there games and yes you can supervise what they are doing whilst you are with them but lets not forget what it was like to e with your mates doing stuff you knew your parents wouldn’t approve of it’s an easy road to fall down i understand that but surly if you need a licence to watch tv then a few parenting course whist pregnant wouldn’t go a miss and at each developing stage a few pointers in the right direction towards your kids the occasional no that’s not good or well done that was brilliant don’t take very long.  manners don’t cost anything but a please and thank you can take you miles. sometimes you know it’s just nice to be nice
